Capacity for Mid or Large Sized Families

Measured at 10 cups in uncooked rice, this rice cooker covers all your needs from a small family of 2-3 people all the way to a large one of 5-8 members. Hosting a dinner party, no sweat. You can power the cooker up and cook a big batch of rice for the enjoyment.

There is also a smaller size (SR-DG102 5 cup uncooked rice) if you are interested. Oddly enough, the smaller sized one is more expensive (about $3) than the bigger one.

Heating Technology-Advanced Fuzzy Logic

Advanced Fuzzy Logic technology is applied in the rice cooker, which enables the cooker to adjust the power level and cooking time automatically. So you are in the mood to cook up a batch of wild rice to make a summer salad, measure the rice, add water and turn on the cooker.

Easy to Use and Clean

The inner pot is non-stick and the inner lid removable. Both are easy to clean after each use. Getting a hang of the rice cook functions is a snap. Decide on what rice or other dishes to cook. Measure the ingredients and turn on the rice cooker. Slaving away for hours in the kitchen is going to be a thing of the past.

helpful-tipsHelpful Tips

  1. Cook a batch of sushi rice to make some California rolls for your summer dinner.
  2. Make sure you buy sushi rice instead of the plain white rice. Expect to pay a little bit more, but it’s all worth it.
  3. Check out my other post on How to Make Sushi at Home to give it a try.
  4. The delayed or pre-set timer is only in even number as in 4, 6, etc. So plan your meal accordingly.
